Rowville Secondary College was tremendously excited and proud to be visited by the Victorian Minister for Education and Minister for Emergency Services, the Hon. James Merlino MP on Friday.

Mr. Merlino visited both the College’s Eastern and Western campuses.

He expressed excitement about seeing our strengths-based programs and approach to Curiosity and Powerful Learning.

Our ACE teams for all year 7 and 8 English and Mathematics classes were showcased, as well as our focus on growth mindset, curiosity and high expectations.

The Minister also met with the nine girls who joined the Rowville Sports Academy this year in the AFL program (pictured below).

They were joined by a number of AFLW players, including RSC teachers Lisa Williams (Western Bulldogs) and Lou Wotton (Collingwood) to discuss the importance of strong role models and physical health and fitness.
