ANZAC Day Memorial Service

ANZAC Day Art Display

On Tuesday 24th April we held our ANZAC Day Memorial Service at both our Eastern and Western Campus which was fully run by our students. Our morning service begun with a musical performance, a call to commemoration by college Captains and Vice Captains, poem recitals by our House Captains and wreath laying. The ode was then read.

The Ode

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
we will remember them.

The Last Post was then performed, followed by one minute silence and then the Rouse was performed and our Australian flag was raised. The service finished with our Australian National Anthem.

Our ANZAC Day Art Display at Stud Park Shopping Centre is to commemorate ANZAC Day from Monday 16th April to Friday 27th April 2018.  The artwork was created from our Year 9/10 Media Specialism students and it reflects the deep symbolism of the Remembrance Poppy. The students did a fantastic job on creating the artwork and  sharing this with the local community in honour of our soldiers who served in past wars.
