Junior RSA footballers Amber Clarke and Ashley Marshall visited Hawthorn’s Waverley Park training base on Thursday.

The girls were treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of the Hawks’ training facilities by defender James Frawley and forwards Jack Gunston and Luke Breust, followed by a skills session.

Clarke and Marshall had completed their respective Rowville Sports Academy trials earlier in the day, as part of the 2017 RSA women’s AFL intake.

The Rowville Sports Academy enjoys a community partnership with Hawthorn Football Club, as the Hawks look to further engage and develop at grassroots level and hope to join the AFL’s women’s league in the future.
