This year five staff members and forty excited Year 10 students embarked on the adventure of a lifetime – our annual Rowville Secondary College Central Australia Trip.

Over 11 unforgettable days, students explored the heart of our country, formed lasting friendships and made memories they’ll treasure forever. From sleeping under the stars and camping in tents to spending a night underground in Coober Pedy, every experience was one to remember.

Trip highlights included:

  • Seeing Uluru for the first time and completing the base walk
  • Visiting the stunning Lake Hart, a large salt lake
  • Exploring the majestic Kings Canyon and the domes of Kata Tjuta (The Olgas)
  • Discovering the unique outback culture in Alice Springs.

One of the most memorable nights was our much-loved Formal Night, where students and staff dressed in quirky op shop outfits for an evening of fun and laughter—always a highlight.

It was an incredible journey of discovery, resilience, and connection. Congratulations to all involved in making this such a successful and really fun experience.
