Bring Your Own Device

Rowville Secondary College is very excited about introducing Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) in 2015 to support classroom learning. This will mean that all year 7-10 students and year 11-12 MSA students will be required to bring a device to school every day.

Given that the Federal Government is no longer supporting computers for schools, we are very fortunate that the School Council has made a significant and substantial financial contribution of more than $400,000. This will provide cutting edge technology that supports fast and reliable access to sophisticated school resources. The deployment of latest technologies in Wi-Fi networking, increased coverage and load balancing will ensure an overall improved user experience across both the East and West Campus.

See below for important information for parents/guardians...

Upcoming Information Nights

During March we held two very successful Open Nights, one at each of our campuses, and were absolutely thrilled with the turnout. If you missed out, please contact the College on 9755-4555 to make a booking for a school tour with one of the members of our Principal Team.

The Knox Leader recently made a mistake in publishing an advertisement for our upcoming Information Evenings, and we would like to advise all interested parties that these are a different format to our Open Nights, and cover material specifically relating to our Special Programs.

The Sports Academy (RSA) Information Evening is on Monday the 4th of May in the Eastern Campus PAC, commencing at 7:00pm.

The Maths and Science Academy (MSA) Information Evening is on Wednesday the 6th of May in the Western Campus Study Centre, commencing at 7:00pm.

The Rowville Institute of the Arts (RIA) Information Evening is on Monday the 18th of May in the Eastern Campus PAC, commencing at 7:00pm.

Please contact the College on 9755-4555 for bookings, and we look forward to seeing you there!
